Theories development

Piaget's theory works with the idea of the child interacting with the world that surrounds him and the influence of this world on his mental development.

Vygotsky uses the concept of Zone of proximal development (ZPD) as a new meaning to intelligence. Vygotsky considered that rather than focusing only on what a child knows or what a child is able to do.

For Bruner, the most important factor in cognitive development is language.

According to Gardner's theory, students can have many different learning styles depending on their kind of intelligence.
